STFC competed in the Ontario Youth/Senior Championships in Toronto on February 21, 2009. Saugeen placed third overall in the youth division with a total of 34 points. Many personal bests were achieved as well as top 5 finishes. Top five finishers were: Cheyenne Hunter 4th, 1500, Rita Rudell 3rd, 60m hurdles, 1st high jump, 5th shot put (4 kg), Mat West 2nd high jump, Kevin Bowman 3rd triple jump, 3rd shot put (5 kg), 1st weight throw (9.072kg) and Jordan Collison 3rd 1500.
